Golf on the Golden Isles - RSM Classic - November 18-24, 2019

With the arrival of The RSM Classic, November is a time for golf lovers from all over the world to converge on our island for week of golf, food and friendships! This year the tournament is the week before Thanksgiving which should prove to bring gorgeous weather. Fall on the Golden Isles brings cooler weather and although there is not a dramatic foliage change as in the north,  the beauty of the Golden Isles abounds with the oak trees dripping in moss, the ocean glistening under the sun and changing colors of the marsh grasses.

MONDAY

TUESDAY

• Tournament grounds closed to the general public
• Practice rounds for PGA TOUR Players
• Wiffle® Ball Classic featuring PGA TOUR Players & Wives — admission is FREE to public, Frederica Academy Baseball Field, 5 pm
• “Meet the Pros” hosted by Rotary Club of St. Simons Island – Mizner Ballroom at The Cloister at Sea Island, 5 pm.

WEDNESDAY

• Community Appreciation Day — admission is FREE for all ages
• Gates open at 7 am; Merchandise Tent open from 9 am – 5 pm
• Yamaha Pro-Am Event — Seaside Course and Plantation Course
• Charity Putting sponsored by Southeast Georgia Health System featuring PGA TOUR Players at The Putting Course, 4pm.

THURSDAY

• Round 1 of The RSM Classic – Tee Times TBA

FRIDAY

• The RSM Classic Charity Bike Ride presented by Chick-fil-A. Additional sponsors: Jekyll Island, The Westin Jekyll Island, Peak Racing and Coca-Cola — Great Dunes Park, Jekyll Island, 8:30am
• Gates open at 9 am; Merchandise Tent open from 9 am – 5 pm
• Round 3 of The RSM Classic — Tee Times TBA
• Military Appreciation Day
• Folds of Honor “Million Dollar Challenge” — located near the main entrance
• The RSM Classic Concert Event sponsored by Southeast Georgia Health System — St. Simons Island Airport; Cole Swindell Live in Concert. Show will begin at 7pm

SUNDAY

• Gates open at 9 am; Merchandise Tent open from 9 am – 5 pm
• Final Round of The RSM Classic — Tee Times TBA
• Trophy Presentation on the 18th green immediately following the completion of play

The RSM Classic is an official PGA TOUR FedCupEx Event played on the Seaside and Plantation courses at Sea Island Golf Club on St Simons Island, GA. The tournament (which will be held Nov. 18-24 in 2019) is hosted by the Davis Love Foundation, which was established by PGA TOUR Pro Golfer Davis Love III and his wife Robin for the purpose of contributing to the wellbeing and progress of society by supporting both national and community-based programs that focus on children and their families.
